545 EXTREME XL tire changer

New from Kwik-Way is their 545 EXTREME XL tire changer with a telescoping tilt tower that can handle wheels up to 20" wide, as well as low-profile 26" wheels without adapters. Additional features include:

• A 3-position bead breaker for servicing a wide variety of tire and rim combinations.
• Offset jaws that keep the rims in place, eliminating slippage and the resulting wheel damage
• A self-positioning tower head and nylon protective cover mean nothing metal touches the wheel, so another potential for wheel damage is avoided.
• The twin air cylinders of the Tecnoroller III-SL mount/demount system offer more power for assisting in the mounting and demounting of low-profile tires.
• A follower arm keeps the tire in the wheel drop center, helping to speed up tire mounting and prevent bead damage.
• Ready for run flat tires with the optional PAX accessory package.
• The safety strap system eliminates the possibility of the tire falling from the changer during inflation.
