StrutTamer Elite

SPX recently updated the Elite version of its StrutTamer product line with:

• An open-ended design that provides easier access in removing and replacing the strut.
• 4-point locking jaws to more securely hold the spring in place.
• Adjustable arms for handling springs from 2-1/2" to 10" in diameter. They can also be adjusted up and down for springs with a 2-1/2" to 24" vertical stroke.
• A 3-bar handle for added leverage during spring compression and decompression.
• Spring compression shoes no longer need to be changed to accommodate different spring sizes.
• An optional Bridge Accessory (#6583) is available for extending the compression range for certain foreign vehicles.
• Can be mounted to the shop wall without the need for special adapters, or it can be used with an optional stand (#6582) for added portability.
