New Invention Leads To Pre-Start Up Lubricating Invention Submission Corporation has a client that recently invented a vehicle oil pump that is able to lubricate engine parts before the engine is even started. The "Electric Primer" is designed as a cylindrical, cast iron device that features an electric oil pump. The unit is hooked up to or near the engine and when the driver starts the vehicle, the engine parts will be primed with oil and after a certain amount of time, the starter motor will turn the engine over and the standard oil pump will begin to operate.
