3408 Code Scanner®

New from OTC® is their 3408 Code Scanner®. The CAN-capable code reader covers all domestic and import generic trouble codes on OBD II-compliant vehicles, some enhanced GM, Ford, Chrysler and Toyota DTCs, and certain manufacturers' codes on Asian and European vehicles. The Code Scanner features a backlit display and comes with a computer hook-up cable, DTC LookUp Software, an 8' OBD-II cable, AAA batteries and a padded storage case. Backed by OTC's 3-year warranty, the new tool also offers:

  • Menu-driven operation with an "instant on" feature when connected to a vehicle.
  • Hot keys for instant read/erase.
  • The ability to perform state OBD checks, erase codes, reset the MIL light and view freeze frame data.
  • An auto shut-off battery saver and low-battery indicator.
