Doctored Up Coolant Analysis Fluid Rx has unveiled their ACUSTRIP test strips, formulated to adjust to antifreeze/coolant colors to make coolant analysis easier for you. The company claims you don't have to know what type of coolant is in a vehicle, or whether it's a specific type or mixture, because the combination of RA and pH evaluations take everything into account automatically. RA use is normal when testing conventional coolants, but isn't accepted in testing extended life coolant. The strips utilize RA levels to pass conventional coolants, then evaluate coolant by pH levels. Extended life coolants lower than 6-1/2 and higher than 10 are considered condemnable.
