Kvaser AB unveiled its new CAN bus datalogger, Memorator Light, for troubleshooting CAN-based system; Memorator Light is easy to use for logging serial data without configuration or software setup. Useful for monitoring intermittent fault conditions, it can be plugged into a vehicles CAN network and left continuously connected until the fault condition occurs. Memorator Light will record all real-time CAN bus traffic whilst the vehicle is running, creating a separate log of what happens just before and after a fault. Memorator Light can be connected to a PC via USB; easy access to data is provided by included Memorator Light Extraction Software.
